Lennox International Sells Electrical Products Division Assets to Emerson

DALLAS, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lennox International Inc. (NYSE: LII) has sold the assets of its Electrical Products Division (EPD) business, part of its Advanced Distributor Products division, to Emerson (NYSE: EMR). The financial impact of this transaction is not material to LII's operating performance, and financial details were not disclosed.

Based in Murfreesboro, TN, EPD produces open coil heating elements used primarily in residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) applications. EPD supplies various HVAC manufacturers, including LII subsidiary companies.
